Vaccine Information

  • Allegheny County has vaccinated largest number of people in PA

  • ~5000 doses daily

  • ~0.5% of the county each day

  • Over 90K doses administered in the UPMC system, with 34K having completed the series

  • Residents in Long-Term Care Facilities

  • Persons 65 years and older

  • Persons with high-risk conditions: Cancer, Kidney Disease, COPD, Down Syndrome, Heart Disease, Immunocompromised, Obesity, Pregnancy, Sickle Cell Disease, Smoking, Diabetes

  • Health Care Workers

Phase 1b

  • First responders and other workers in congregate care settings (e.g., day care, correctional officers)

  • Postal Service workers
