Food Pantry & Giveaways
Equitable access to food is a human right and no one should go hungry, especially with the wealth disparity and food waste in this country.
The Little Free Pantry is open 24-7 in front of the PHCA – 3060 Brereton Street
Food giveaways with fresh produce and other perishable goods will be held on the 3rd Thursday of the month from 6:30–8:30pm
If you or someone you know needs food, please email phca@phcapgh.org. We can provide some supplemental groceries and connect you with other services in the area.
If you are able to contribute to the pantry, please drop off non-perishable food items. As the temperatures keep dipping below freezing we ask that for now, please do not put in glass jars that have liquid and any extremely liquid canned goods.
Other items that are needed included:
unopened personal hygiene items including shampoo/conditioner, soap, oral hygiene items, menstrual products etc
pet food and treats
diapers, baby wipes, diaper cream
If you'd like to make a monetary donation to you can donate here .
We are also looking for volunteers to help with the giveaways and assist keeping the pantry stocked. Please contact us if you are interested phca@phcapgh.org.
